Pippa’s Big Day

Hands up – who’s excited that The Duchess of Cambridge’s little sister Pippa is tying the knot on today?! We are!

We can’t wait to see “the dress”, the guests outfits, the Royal’s in attendance, the décor….well everything really.

What we do know is that the wedding reception is being held in a glass marquee at the family home in Berkshire.  They are using the most lavish portaloos we have ever seen! Check these out:posh portalooThe marquee structure is absolutely massive and must have taken a long time to build with an estimated hire charge of £100,000! We are sure it’ll look absolutely wonderful though when adorned with the decorations.wedding marqueeAre you recently engaged and looking to use a marquee for your wedding reception? Did you know that we can hold marquee weddings on our perfectly manicured lawn?  Take a look at this wedding below  (photos courtesy of Albert Palmer) to show you how it works for us and how you could create Pippa’s look for less!

You can achieve a similar feel by using a clear span marquee which essentially is a marquee with no poles inside and clear panelling used to make the most of the views, allowing light to enter.

Alternatively, if you would prefer to use the Manor only, our Orangery is a beautiful light and airy space, bringing the outside in (next to our beautiful rose garden). orangery wedding
